MEMBERSHIP BENEFITS

 The South Florida Investigators Association, Inc.is actively involved in representing its members in industry related matters.    

• SFIA encourages communication among members to help create a mutual  trust within the profession.
• SFIA aspires to create a higher respect for the profession by subscribing to ethical principles when dealing with the public
• SFIA promotes and sponsors informative monthly dinner meetings with guest speakers for the mutual benefit of the membership
• SFIA monitors local, state and national regulatory activities and provides this information to its members
• SFIA promotes the purpose of investigative and related services by all means consistent with the public's interest.
• SFIA provides a liaison with government, law enforcement and civic groups
• SFIA is a means for its members to discuss current issues, exchange ideas and experiences and participate in Association activities

Active Member - Any individual licensed under Florida Statute 493, proprietary or corporate investigators and active law enforcement.  Active members are entitled to vote.  Fee is $90.00 annually

 

Associate Member - Any individual, not licensed under Chapter 493 but is in a related field of investigation, or who provides related services to investigators.  Associate members have no voting rights.  Fee is $65.00 annually

 

Student  Member - any person attending classes in Private Investigations or Law Enforcement fields.  Fee is $35.00 annually
